ProCycle™ 0.2mL 12-Strip PCR Tubes and 12-Strip Dome Caps Combo with ultrathin sidewalls and bottoms for more uniform and efficient temperature transfer, therefore reducing PCR reaction time in most 96-well bottomed thermal cyclers such as MJ Research, Perkin Elmer, Hybaid and others. They are more easily handled than single tubes. They will precisely fit standard well spacing and can also be used with 8- and 12-channel hand-held pipettors. All strips are molded of polypropylene under the most stringent conditions and are offered, colorless and in four different colors. Non-attached cap strips are available in a dome or flat top design and ensure a perfect closure during the whole thermal cycle. Cap strips are not included and have to be ordered separately (see T321 Series). Packed in tamperproof resealable bags.

The strip includes 8 integral 0.2 mL tubes with ultra-thin sidewalls and bottoms for more uniform and efficient temperature transfer. While easily opened and closed with one hand, their positive sealing will fully protect the contents from evaporation during the whole thermal cycle. The cap has an integral seal preventing contamination with surface of lid. While more easily handled than single tubes, the 8-strip PCR tubes will precisely fit standard well spacing and can also be used with multi-channel hand-held pipettors. They are made of ultra-clear polypropylene plastic under the most stringent conditions to attain the highest quality standards in the industry, and strips can be cut to any length.

The GC-RICH PCR System is composed of an enzyme blend of thermostable Taq DNA Polymerase and Tgo DNA Polymerase a thermostable enzyme with a proofreading (3-5 exonuclease) activity. This polymerase mixture by itself outperforms Taq DNA Polymerase in respect to yields fidelity and specificity beside the possibility to amplify fragments up to 5 kb in length. The GC-RICH PCR Reaction buffer in combination with the separately included GC-RICH reSOLUTIONon SOLUTIONon allows to amplify difficult templates like GC-rich targets very efficiently. TA cloning is recommended. The enzyme blend produces more blunt-ended fragments than Taq DNA Polymerase. The majority of products have single A overhangs.
